Holistic Neuro Developmental Therapy
( Coordination Quality Therapy )

I am a Coordination Quality Therapist (neurodevelopmental therapy), registered with the Complimentary Therapist Association. I am also a retired Psychotherapist registered with the British Association of Psychotherapists. My work integrates elements of occupation therapy, physiotherapy and martial arts. I originally trained in Israel in the Elbaum method www.mor-college.co.il, and have had a practice in the U.K. since 2004. I specialise in dyspraxia, dysgraphia , dyslexia and dyscalculia. I work from my clinic in north London and in schools, both with statemented children (as part of their statement), as well as with other children, in early intervention ‘motor skill’ groups (mostly in prep schools), preparing them for increasing academic pressure.

In each setting, I provide direct intervention for children as well as advice and training for teachers, SENCO’s, parents and key workers. Over the last 30 years, people I have worked with have benefited by overcoming their difficulties and improving their self–esteem and confidence.

My extensive training, coupled with childhood experience of learning difficulties, gives me a mixture of qualities from which my unique style evolved. My biodynamic approach encourages challenges and motivates children to exercise their bodies. The programme applies different exercises targeted at maximising coordination ability. My passion for this work led to the development of other exercises that further help to build up efficient body control.

Over the past eight years, I have worked closely with Tamara Nathan, Principal of The Fountain House Learning Centre. I have found Tamara’s work to be of great value and clearly compliments my work in addressing various learning difficulties.
