About the Programme

I use a variety of exercises as well as karate movements that activate the body.

Power Exercises

Static and dynamic power exercises are targeted to improve muscular tone, as well as to develop a relationship with one’s willpower.

The Assessment

The initial assessment is highly significant, as it gives both the parents and the child ‘special time’ to look at how the child is coping

Integrating Elements of Karate

The poorly coordinated body is ‘thirsty’ for the right stimulation to develop itself. This, in turn, leads to maximum resourcefulness.

About Myrom

Holistic Neuro Developmental Therapy ( Coordination Quality Therapy )

I am a Coordination Quality Therapist (neurodevelopmental therapy), registered with the Complimentary Therapist Association. I am also a retired Psychotherapist registered with the British Association of Psychotherapists. My work integrates elements of occupation therapy, physiotherapy and martial arts. I originally trained in Israel in the Elbaum method www.mor-college.co.il, and have had a practice in the U.K. since 2004. I specialise in dyspraxia, dysgraphia , dyslexia and dyscalculia. I work from my clinic in north London and in schools, both with statemented children (as part of their statement), as well as with other children, in early intervention ‘motor skill’ groups (mostly in prep schools), preparing them for increasing academic pressure.
